Becoming a Parent Governor:

This is a very rewarding way to be involved in your child’s school. The opportunity would be good for your professional development as you would become involved in interviewing staff, discussing the budget and giving your views on the strategic direction of the school. You would receive training and childcare costs if required. You would need to be able to attend evening meetings at least once per term.

This is what a previous parent governor had to say: “As a parent governor I learn how the school is run. I feel it is a privilege for me to be able to contribute my ideas on how the school is run.”

If you are interested or have any questions please talk to the Head Teacher, Julie Vaggers, Assistant Head, Veena Sharma or the Chair of Governors, Zena Brabazon.
